"Could This Be For Me?"

When our oldest was a newborn I quit my full time job to stay home because my share of the income would have only covered daycare costs.  Soon we were scraping by, living paycheck to paycheck as medical bills from the c-section and check-ups were adding up.  Baby number two came along 2 years later and we found ourselves wondering how on earth we'd pay for our mortgage, car payments, insurance, utilities, groceries and a whole new stack of medical bills from another c-section and subsequent check-ups.

Knowing if I went back to work my paycheck would go solely to daycare (might as well stay home), we chose to use credit cards because it seemed to be the lesser of two evils.  Oh boy did THOSE fill up quickly with just bare necessities - groceries, car repair, diapers!
